Farm Security

Crime in rural areas is on the increase and farms are an attractive prospect to a would be thief. Unfortunately most farms make it easy for the thief by failing to adopt the simplest of security measures.  Farms have a lot of high value, easily moveable equipment and their remote locations only add to the risk.

Vigilence

Be vigilant, most thefts are planned and the thief will often recce the site either in person by posing as delivery drivers or asking for directions, or using technology, such as drones to check the site, layout and security.  Be vigilant to strangers.  If you feel that something isn't right speak to your neighbours or the Rural Crime Police Teams.
